The establishment did not fully meet our expectations, though the overall experience was not entirely negative. The food, however, left room for improvement. The Oysters Rockefeller were initially undercooked and, even after being returned for additional baking, still fell short of expectations. The deviled eggs were acceptable but ultimately unremarkable, lacking a distinctive or memorable quality. On a positive note, the drinks were well-prepared and enjoyable. The atmosphere was somewhat loud due to the acoustics, which was surprising given that the restaurant was not particularly crowded, even for a holiday. While there were some shortcomings, the experience was not without its positives, and we would be open to giving the restaurant another opportunity in the future. David our server did a good job.
The appetizer was delicious! A truly wonderful treat to begin the meal. The tacos which were more similar to giant flavorful tortilla chips contained a wonderful mix of veggies and fish that wonderfully complemented eachother! The drink, an espresso martini was a sweet surprise. Unlike other espresso martinis that have a bland coffee flavor that’s overrun with alcohol, this one had a slightly sweet flavor that most likely came from the toasted marshmallow accented on top. The waffles were made very well. It’s hard to get waffles wrong and they did not fail. They were crispy outside and soft inside. The fruits were fresh and the syrup didn’t taste chemically. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked through perfectly. I enjoyed every bite. My favorite part was the waiter. Art was a delight to be served by. He was quick, efficient, conversational, and went above and beyond his position. Hands-down, the best server at this restaurant!
Beautiful atmosphere. Exceptional staff. Fried oysters were slightly overcooked, so we're a little chewy. Wonderful selection of raw oysters. Very good. My husband spilled his entire cocktail. Was cleaned up quickly and was replaced with one on the house. Talk about exceptional service!
We had a wonderful dinner at this place, it was a true pleasure. The food was delicious (only complaint is that there was too much fried batter on the cornmeal oysters - it overpowered and spoiled the taste of the oysters), the cocktail was perfectly balanced, and the service was top-notch, our waiter was simply superb. Best part of the evening was THE dessert, omg delishhh! Thank you for wonderful dinner, we loved!
This is one of the best restaurants on the island. The seasonal burrata is my favorite especially when it has the caramelized kiwi. They have a great assortment of oysters. Everything we have tried has been delicious. The bartenders (especially Mando) are all amazing and have made our visits very enjoyable.
This place made our stay here on the island hands down the best trip! Which we experienced this on our first night rather than our last. From the beautiful upscale designs to the food. The oysters here are the only place to get them. We tried a few places and this was #1! Our waiter MICHAEL, was nothing but basic. He provided us with the upmost quality of service. This wouldn't have been the same with out him! Which I was a local here so I can make this a regular weekly visit but will be without a doubt at my next visit.
Pro-tip - make reservations - especially Saturday night. While waiting for a table - we sat in the bar area. Mando was absolutely amazing. If only people realized they can make or break an experience. He was absolutely delightful and took care of us. Then we were moved to our table where we had four people try and take care of us - even the manager- with no success. Sat with empty water glasses most of the time. Food was ok. Smallest oysters I’ve ever had. Medium rare wagyu burger was cooked medium/well. Fries good. Great wine selection. Beautifully decorated.
